Melissa Haley

Melissa is a California native who has always been interested in holistic healthcare. After experiencing her own healing through Reiki and hypnotherapy, she attended Palo Alto School of Hypnotherapy and became a certified hypnotherapist. She then went on to pursue a certificate in Reiki.

Her interest in massage came about after noticing her parents struggling with chronic pain and modern medicine not being able to fully treat their symptoms. She, then, enrolled in Skyline College's Massage Therapy Program and became a Certified Massage Therapist. She loves to perform relaxing Swedish massage and comforting prenatal massage, but really enjoys deep tissue. "I love being able to manipulate the muscles and give my clients back their pain-free way of life," she says.

When Melissa is not working with guests at our redwoods retreat, she enjoys being led around town by her 5-year-old Chihuahua mix, Wally. She also enjoys photography and has been known to pull over on her commute in the redwoods to capture the beautiful rays of sun peeking through the gorgeous landscape.
