Selected Highlights
MDiv in Theology, Lancaster Theological Seminary
Two years of Clinical Pastoral Education, Yuma Regional Medical Center
Former Pastor and Interfaith Chaplain in Hospitals and Hospice
Before joining the Spiritual Wellness Team at Canyon Ranch Tucson, Pamela served as a board-certified chaplain, supporting patients and families experiencing illness and loss in hospital and hospice environments. She also spent more than a decade as pastor, and nearly as long as a pastoral guide to those going through times of transition.
Pamela specializes in grief and loss; transition, including second half of life questions; and strengthening intimacy by reconnecting sexuality and spirituality. She has expertise in integrating creativity and nature into healing work, as well as offering tools for identifying meaning and purpose.
To Pamela, reconnecting is integral to wellness. She says, “I think of spirituality as the lens through which I reconnect with myself – with nature, with the world, with those around me, with whatever is both common and full of mystery. I love providing a safe space for people to work with tender questions.”
In her free time, you can often find Pamela writing poetry, making mandalas, or walking in nature.
