Feel the rhythm and get funky for Fall. Dance weekends occur the first of every month at our Lenox wellness resort in the Massachusetts Berkshires. Work with new and returning guest choreographers as they bring their specialties to life in a series of unique routines.

Join Broadway performer Kimberly Dawn Neumann and Canyon Ranch expert Sergio Cardoso as they guide you through a range of dance styles, from country western to musical theater to tango. Kimberly Dawn will draw on her past as dance captain for the Broadway National Tour of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical to share playful, easy-to-learn moves in engaging classes for dancers of all levels.

Kimberly Dawn Neuman is a dancer, singer, actress, national aerobics champion, and fitness instructor with Broadway credits that include A Chorus Line, Urban Cowboy, and Annie Get Your Gun. Off-Broadway, she’s appeared in the acclaimed Irish Repertory Theatre production of* Finian’s Rainbow* and in the New York revival of New Girl in Town. She’s graced the national touring companies of Kiss Me, Kate, Annie, A Chorus Line, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Her sassy style is irresistible and her instruction is always inspiring.

Sergio Cardoso is originally from Argentina where his love for tango began. He's a certified group exercise instructor, yoga teacher, and personal trainer. His recent dance project, Tango Milongas, combines music and romantic movement to create a special class that's unique, easy-to-follow, and enjoyable.

Friday, November 1st

2 p.m. Emo Jazz Dance

Sometimes dance class is better than therapy. Come to this all-levels lyrical jazz class with professional dancer Kimberly Dawn Neumann and get a little emotional (in a good way). It’s time to leave all your troubles where they belong…on the dance floor.

Saturday, November 2nd

9 a.m. The Broadway Experience

Always wondered what it would be like to dance on Broadway? Now’s your chance to learn some of the choreography that makes audiences applaud. Kimberly Dawn Neumann, who has served as the dance captain for several Broadway shows, will break down the steps and put you in the spotlight.

2 p.m. Fall Back Funk

Autumn leaves, cozy layers, crisp air and a lost hour of sleep? Get ready to “fall back” by getting a little funky in this basic hip hop dance class with Kimberly Dawn Neumann that just may have a little pumpkin spice tossed in the mix.

9 a.m. Milongas: Tango Dance Party With Sergio Cardoso
Learn the basics of tango, with exercises in balance, coordination, and posture while working on connection, dance floor navigation, tango choreography, and musicality.
