Glide through winter on the 25+ miles of trails at Notchview Nordic Ski Center, located in Windsor, MA. Trails wind through forests and fields and cover varied terrain. This ski tour is for guests who have previous experience or who have taken a lesson at CR and are ready for more.

Rituals have been used since ancient times to set intention and open transformation. Dan Marko shares ideas for creating personal rituals which enhance the restoration of body, mind and spirit.
2:00 p.m. Winter Warming Ritual: Clear the Winter Doldrums
Energize your body and enliven your spirit! Brisk walking, warming stretches, and light calisthenics ending at a cozy fire for a cup of tea, wrapped in a blanket to bask in the winter sun.

A circuit-based class set in shallow water encouraging muscle fatigue while maintaining an aerobic level.

Learn and experience the benefits of proper exposure to cold therapy in our Women's Spa cold plunge.
8:00 a.m. Hike Level 5 Lion's Head
Starting at the Connecticut border and heading south, this section of the Appalachian Trail will take you to the panoramic view at Lion’s Head. The first two miles of this hike rise continuously at a moderate rate up to the ridgeline. You will pass through mountain laurel, hemlock, and mixed hardwoods forests. Roll along the ridge for two more miles out to the rocky outcropping and view looking over northwest CT. Reverse your steps back to the starting point. Backpack and lunch included. Hiking poles available. Please wear weather appropriate hiking boots. Depending on conditions, snowshoes or micro-spikes may be provided. Mileage: 8.5 Vertical Rise: 1,736 Ft.

A yoga instructor leads an on-property walk through beautiful trails with yoga posture breaks. Learn to incorporate fresh air and open thoughts in your practice. In the event of inclement weather, this class will take place in the Yoga Studio.
