Embark on a four-day exploration designed to cultivate a deeper connection to peace within yourself and the world around you. Through practices of breath and somatic awareness, you'll identify how peace is disrupted and learn tools to gently restore it. Dan Marko, MA, Senior Spiritual Wellness Provider
More than 40 years ago, Dan Marko began his wellness career as a certified personal trainer. He went on to study and practice massage therapy. He is also a 200-hour registered yoga teacher, has completed NAMA-approved coursework in Ayurveda, and studies the Andean mystic traditions.
This background, along with Dan’s formal study of contemplative psychology and consciousness has uniquely prepared him to guide our guests on their own spiritual wellness journey. He helps others achieve a higher level of self-awareness and teaches them how positive lifestyle choices can improve their quality of life.
Outside the Ranch, Dan has taught locally and internationally and led mindfulness and mind-body lecture series. His favorite pastimes are foraging, running, traveling, and spending time on the water.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 23

11 a.m. Emotional Stress Release Through Healing Touch
Good health results in the free-flow of energy in the body, and emotional stress, anxiety, or fear can effectively block that flow. With guided visualization, learn hands-on techniques to release stress and restore balance and calm to your system.
2 p.m. Spirituality & Public Art
Explore the impact of interactive public art on community, empathy and understanding. Consider how the thoughts shared by strangers in these impermanent installations invite new insight and connection in ourselves, one another and the world.
4 p.m. Grounded Peace Principles
What are the qualitative strengths that you can build a foundation of peace upon? Contemplations on courage, truth, trust, respect and reverence will be offered for exploration.
7 p.m. Sound Experience: Voice & Instruments
Readings and reflections from cross-cultural peace advocates will be interwoven with the sounds of Tibetan Bowls, Gong, and vocal toning from you and your fellow participants.
FRIDAY, JANUARY 24
10 a.m. Coming Home to the Body
Restore your ability to be aware in the present moment and learn the process of the felt sense, a vital part of your being, and bring it into focus. Connect with your body’s wisdom, shift your body energy, and illuminate steps for change.

With guidance from a Spiritual Wellness provider, choose your archetype to help establish inner and outer peace. Which will you embody - the warrior, the guardian or the protector?
7 p.m. Peace Meditation
Peace is an expanding and contracting state of awareness and being. This meditation focuses on meeting these fluctuating states as an embodied archetype. This experience is most beneficial to you if you also attend the Embodied Peace presentation.
