4 – 9 p.m. Orientation & Day Into Night Ride
This ride offers a perfect blend of fun and safety as we start the ride in the daylight and pedal into the silvery rise of the moon. Set in a lush desert landscape, this section of the Arizona Trail is beautifully contoured and wide, making for a smooth ride with only 270 feet of elevation gain. Enjoy a dinner break as we overlook the Tucson Valley bathed in moonlight. This will be an out-and-back journey with bike lights provided, and the special attention to care and communication required for a night ride.
Friday, March 14
7 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Mackenzie Ranch, Hohokam, AZ Trail
This ride will showcase 3 unique trails, and a dirt road section connecting trails. Mackenzie Ranch is a purpose-built mountain bike race track with a flowing easy single track.
Hohokam is the next segment with an easy 5-minute climb and beautiful desert single track.
Next, a 15-minute connector dirt road to the Arizona Trail and our first challenge - a half hour rugged climb to a summit point. From there a spirited downhill to lunch at the Posta Quemada Ranch.
3-4 p.m. Canyon Ranch Guide to Optimal Recovery
Our Sports Medicine and Performance Science experts discuss top tips for post-workout recovery and managing joint/muscle pain.
Saturday, March 15
7 a.m.–Noon Honey Bee Big Loop
Panoramic views of the majestic Santa Catalina Mountains set the stage for this 19-mile desert single track mountain bike adventure.
The ride features gradual ascents that lead to exhilarating downhill runs, offering both challenge and excitement. The landscape showcases a stunning mix of desert flora, rugged trails, and smooth, wide sections that add to the thrill. Along the way, you'll encounter unique geological formations and ancient Native American rock art, adding rich cultural history and natural beauty to your ride.
3 - 4 p.m. Nutrition to Fuel Performance
Learn what foods, amounts of foods, and fueling strategies support optimal exercise performance. This presentation will cover foundations of performance nutrition and ideas to personalize the recommendations to individual preferences and goals.

7 a.m.-3 p.m. Gravel Biking in Patagonia (optional, additional fee)
Embark on a breathtaking 30-mile cycling journey through Patagonia, Arizona. Discover the historic Harshaw ghost town and enjoy beautiful views at every turn. Ideal for intermediate to advanced riders.
