Inspiring Hope: Canyon Ranch's 35-Year Partnership with Dream Street Foundation

For over 35 years, Canyon Ranch has been privileged to host young adults from the Dream Street Foundation – a non-profit organization that hosts annual summer camps for young adults facing cancer and chronic, life-threatening diseases. At the heart of this partnership at Canyon Ranch Tucson, our flagship wellness resort and spa, we are committed to creating a sanctuary of healing, joy, and connection for these individuals who may feel isolated in their struggle.  

A Legacy of Support 

Dream Street Foundation offers nationwide, annual summer programs for children and young adults battling severe health challenges. For over three decades, with support from volunteer counselors and full-time medical staff, these camps ensure participants receive necessary care, enabling them to experience activities they might otherwise miss.

By partnering with Canyon Ranch, Dream Street aims to provide a space where campers can connect with and support each other. This program is all about creating a safe and nurturing environment where young adults can openly discuss self-esteem, body image, relationships, and other personal topics. Many of the participants feel isolated in their struggles, but at Canyon Ranch, their illness is overshadowed by love, support, and fun.

Creating Space for Joy & Connection

At Canyon Ranch Tucson, we have crafted a unique program exclusively for Dream Street participants. These young adults engage in various enriching activities, from inspiring talks to therapeutic counseling sessions, lively music, and spirited dance. Each moment is designed to uplift spirits and create treasured memories. Participants receive individualized attention through health and fitness sessions, group activities, spa treatments, and personalized consultations, fully engaging in all that Canyon Ranch has to offer.

Named "The River of Dreams," this eye-catching rock collection reveals an array of inspiring words and images – each stone tells its own story.
