Take to our popular rock-climbing wall or set out for an unforgettable excursion in the lush Sonoran Desert—all with a trusted expert by your side.

Archeological Adventure
Our naturalist leads you on hikes around the Tucson valley to visit the ancient sites of the Hohokam people. Learn how the original inhabitants of this alluvial plain in the Sonoran Desert lived by examining remnants of their communities and culture. $110, 5 hours

Climbing Wall
Climb our rock wall at Canyon Ranch Tucson for a great workout. It’s fun, increases your heart rate, and builds functional strength and fitness as you exercise every major muscle group. Challenge yourself on a variety of routes at your own pace. Great for beginners and intermediate climbers. Private sessions are available. $110, 120 min

High Ropes Challenge Course
Under the guidance of our professional staff, expand your limits and discover new things about yourself. Our Ropes Course challenges you to connect and be present with daily life. Learn about your communication skills, how you perceive risk and perform under pressure, and enhance your ability to give and receive support. Guided Mountain Biking
Explore some of the world’s best mountain biking trails on high-end full-suspension bikes. Our selected outfitters offer something for every level of biking, from novice to expert. All equipment, including helmet, gloves, elbow and knee pads, and pedals of choice is included. Hydration and snacks are provided. A brief survey will be provided prior to the ride to determine your skill level. Call in advance or see the daily schedule. Guided private biking is also available. $350 per person, 3-4 hours (6 guests max)

Private Hiking
Experience a private hike in the scenic Redwoods tailored to your interest. We customize for focus, length, level/intensity, terrain, and duration. Select from wooded trails or wide-open fields with distant vistas. $135 (per person), 1 hour, $75 for each additional hour (per person)

Shinrin Yoku: Forest Bathing
Shinrin Yoku is the Japanese practice of taking in the forest atmosphere or forest bathing. Join your guide on a slow, intentional walk into the woods to destress and reconnect with nature. Find a tree or a spot that speaks to you and open your presence to the ancient Redwoods and Coast Live Oaks of the California Bay Area. The ambient sounds, elemental scents, and warm earth will heal and soothe you as you connect with all that makes up the great outdoors. $210 for 90 min

Equus Coaching
Experience the powerful healing and therapeutic benefits of interacting with a horse in a controlled environment with a certified Equus Coach® at the Ciara West Equestrian facility. Equus Coaching uses the natural and instinctual behavior of horses to uniquely show people how their own internal dialogue and unintended, subconscious actions affect themselves and others. Learn presence and calm, and be reassured. Please inquire about session times. Duration includes transportation, provided by Ciara West Equestrian. $500 (1 guest) or $450 per person (for 2 guests), 1.5-2 hours

Guided Kayaking Tour
Your tour begins with a brief kayak and safety orientation. Then we will launch our kayaks and glide across the tranquil waters of the Pillar Point Harbor of Half Moon Bay where the sea birds and harbor seals roam. Your guides will point out unique sites and share historical anecdotes on topics such as the local history, bird life, marine mammals, and the legendary Mavericks surf spot. Wetsuits and waterproof paddle jackets will be provided. You bring sunblock, sunglasses with a retention strap, a synthetic sweater, shoes that can get wet, and a hat. A change of dry clothes is recommended in case you get wet during the trip. Must be booked 48 hours in advance. $150 per person

Walking Vineyard Tour And Wine Tasting
Visit the nearby award-winning Thomas Fogarty Winery, in the Santa Cruz Mountains, an American Viticultural Area (AVA). Join knowledgeable vineyard staff and learn about one of the most innovative wine producers. Take a walking tour of the estate located along Skyline Blvd, where you will visit Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vineyards used to make appellation blends and Single Vineyard bottlings. Following the walking tour, enjoy a guided tasting of six estate wines. Inquire about specific days and times. $125 per person, 180 min
