Ranch Dressing
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz garlic
- 2 Tbsp tamari
- 1/2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp white distilled Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp evaporated cane sugar
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1.5 oz scallions
- 1.75 lb sour cream
- 6 oz mayonnaise
Instructions
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and add in your garlic. Reduce to a simmer and cook for ~5 minutes. Drain and cool.
- In a blender, blend the garlic, tamari, Worcestershire, vinegar, evaporated cane sugar, black pepper, and salt until smooth.
- Thinly slice the green parts of the scallion and add them to the blender. PULSE ONLY, 2 OR 3 TIMES! You want to keep them chunky and not fully puree.
- Place the sour cream and mayonnaise in a mixing bowl, then pour the contents from the blender. Whisk by hand until Incorporated.
- Blanching the garlic helps mellow the sharp, spicy bite of the garlic. It is, however, completely optional, especially if you like that garlic kick!
- We recommend using homemade mayonnaise, but store-bought will work in a pinch.
